I was born in Fife, half a century ago, and I have drawn and painted since childhood. I have developed my style and ideas, in writing as well as visual art. I exhibit and sell paintings, prints and cards, through galleries, fairs, or privately and I take commissions.  I am printing and selling my own illustrated poetry books.

In my creative work I try to achieve colour and composition harmony, looking to express meanings underlying my perception of the concrete world.  I paint Scottish landscape, as the natural world is an inspiration, and I am very aware of the beauty of my native country.  I use many media - oils, watercolour, mixed media and etching, on different supports, and I experiment with colour glazes.  On my website I sell mainly paintings, etchings, and drawings, framed and unframed and poetry books.  There will be prints and cards available too.

I have done demonstrations, workshops and tuition, in the Fife/Perth area lately.  I did two years’ study at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, and was a member of the DCA Print Studio for eight years where I learned etching.  And I did a BA Degree at the Open University in Art History in 1995.  I have had over 30 exhibitions in the UK, and I am online in the www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk and some other art sites.
